Adams County Winery, which first began operation in 1976, is a small farm winery, just eight miles west of Gettysburg. Nestled against the South Mountains, we have a ideal climate for growing grapes that, in turn, make our award-winning wines. Your drive to Adams County Winery will wind you through apple, peach and pear orchards. Pack a lunch or purchase snack items in the gift shop, and enjoy a picnic away from the hustle and bustle, amid towering pines, vineyards and gardens. Can't get out to the country? Visit our downtown wine shop at 25C Chambersburg Street (Route 30 West) in the heart of Gettysburg. You can browse our wine related merchandise, sample our many wines, and then take a bottle with you to enjoy!

Tours of our winemaking facilities, complimentary wine tasting, beautiful gardens, and lush vineyards make Adams County Winery a great destination to visit during your trip. Enjoy our free summer concert series as will as year ‘round special events. Be sure to visit our webpage and sign up for a newsletter for all the great happenings. Open 7 days a week.
