Cumberland Valley is the hub of the Gettysburg, Hershey and Lancaster vacation region with connections via Interstate 81, I-83,  I-76 and US 11/15. We’re conveniently located just minutes from Harrisburg International Airport and Amtrak, and within two to three hours of every major city on the Northeast Corridor including New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Baltimore.

Getting Around
On Foot: Many of our downtowns have walkable shopping districts. Self-guided walking tours are available online and in print.
Bike: Most of our downtowns are bike friendly. The Cumberland Valley Rail Trail is a great spot for a leisurely ride.

Bus: The Harrisburg-based Capital Area Transit (CAT) operates a public bus service in Cumberland and Dauphin counties. CAT service extends from Shippensburg to Enola and to Harrisburg International Airport in Middletown, the Amtrak station and Greyhound bus terminals in Harrisburg. You must have exact fare if paying cash. Base fare is $1.65. Buses do not run on holidays. CAT schedules can be downloaded on visitcumberlandvalley.com.
