Historically, brewing has been left to the East Shore. Harrisburg's strong brewing tradition dates to the 1700's. At one time, Harrisburg produced much of the beer for the entire region, but prohibition ultimately forced most breweries out of business. ABC revived that tradition in 1997 by opening Harrisburg's first brewery in 46 years. Once again, ABC has made history by opening the West Shore's first brewery!

Appalachian Brewing Company in Camp Hill is the first brewery in Harrisburg's West Shore area.  Featured on tap are hand-crafted ales and lagers.  Some are brewed on-site in Camp Hill, while the rest are brewed in the main brewery on Camron Street, which opened in 1997 as Harrisburg's first brewery in 46 years.

ABC Camp Hill has a cozy family-friendly dining room where our savory American fare, from a regularly-updated menu, can be enjoyed along with our regionally famous brews.

More notable is ABC Camp Hill's bar, fully remodeled and featuring our full menu of entrees, pizzas, burger and appetizers with the several hand-crafted beers consistently on tap.  Service is always friendly and we take pride in our neighborhood pub atmosphere.  Your friends are probably already here.
