details

The Eastern Museum of Motor Racing (EMMR) houses unique displays of legendary race memorabilia.  A visit to this volunteer-run organization uncovers midgets from every era, the actual contents from Tommy Hinnershitz’s garage, one of the only known remaining pieces from Ted Horn’s car and one of Ricky Rudd’s NASCARs.  Other displays covering dirt track, Indianapolis 500 and drag racing can also be found in the museum, including a special tribute to Williams Grove Speedway.

Located on a restored 40-acre fairground and racetrack, EMMR also has one of the finest motorsports research libraries in the country.  Check the event calendar to schedule a visit during one of the several times each year where these historic cars are again brought to life and can be seen as they were meant to be seen - on the Racetrack!
