Lincoln Cemetery

Originally named the African Cemetery of Carlisle, Lincoln Cemetery was in use as early as 1806. Several hundred African-American men, women and children are buried here including at least 40 Civil War veterans.

This cemetery was restored and is maintained by Vietnam Veterans of Mechanicsburg and was named to the Cumberland County Register of Historic Places in 2020.
