The Stationmaster's House is one of the historic sites preserved by the Mechanicsburg Museum Association. This two-story building was built in 1866 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The home was built by the Cumberland Valley Railroad for stationmaster George Zacharias and has been furnished to represent his family's time there in the late 1860s. The house may be visited on docent-led tours from the Passenger Station, Wednesday through Saturday, from 12 pm to 3 pm. Admission is free.
