This 18-acre park features a pavilion covering 4 tables with seating for up to 32 adults or 40 children available to rent. Also available for use is a youth softball field on a first come first serve basis, two multi-purpose fields, playground equipment, basketball and volleyball courts, restrooms, and one barbecue grill. The 1/3-mile Valley Meadows Loop Trail has a crushed stone surface and winds around the perimeter of the park. The trail provides access to Forbes Path as well as the Dickinson Park Trail. The trail is part of the Carlisle Borough Bicycle and Pedestrian Trail Network.Rest Rooms: The key must be obtained at the Recreation Office, 415 Franklin Street in Carlisle, the last weekday before the reservation.For pavilion rentals, please contact the Carlisle Parks and Recreation Office at 717-243-3318.
