Willow Mill Park is an 18-acre municipal park was home to a legendary amusement park prior to being purchased by Silver Spring Township. The park is bordered by the Conodoguinet Creek and provides a wonderful opportunity for boating, fishing, hiking, birding, and enjoying the outdoors. Additionally the park has gardens, protected wetlands, Veterans Memorial, RC Race Track (dirt and gravel), picnic pavilions and benches (creekside pavilion is equipped with electric outlets), grills, portable restrooms and ample parking. Dogs are permitted. They must be on a leash measuring 6' or less.

Disc Golf: This mostly flat and lightly wooded has 9 holes and a length of 2,144 feet. With a red par of 27, this course has concrete tees and DISCatcher baskets.

Boating: The Conodoguinet Creek can be accessed at the boat launch (located at the far end of the park) or canoe launch (located next to the Huston Mill). Download the Conodoguinet Creek Water Trail Guide and Map (.pdf)

Pavilion: The pavilion by the creek has seating for 100+, a double charcoal grill, and electric. Handicap access is available right next to the pavilion. Click here for rental information.

Huston Mill, located in Willow Mill Park, has been a local landmark since the late 1790s. The mill structure is named for James S. Huston, who owned and operated the gristmill from the 1880s through the early 20th century. Today, evidence of the mill race and interior machinery is gone, but the mill building survives as a reminder of past times (access is not available). A group called the "Friends of Willow Mill" has been working diligently to help protect, preserve and develop the Historic Huston Mill, that sits on park property.
