The Donald L. Wittlinger Nature Preserve is a 50-acre wetland located on both sides of the Yellow Breeches Creek, just south of Boiling Springs. Access to the Preserve can be obtained near the rear of the Boiling Springs Pool property.

Hiking: One-mile relatively easy and flat cleared walking trail that follows the remnants of an old mill race. Located in the northern portion of the Preserve with access via the rear of the Boiling Springs Pool property.

  • Directions: Route 81 to Carlisle. Take Route 34 South. Travel approximately 3 miles on 34 to a traffic light at Route 174. Turn left onto 174 and travel to Boiling Springs. Turn right onto Front St. A small parking lot is available at Race St.
