Top off your evening with dinner and a show at Allenberry Resort Inn and Playhouse's [1559 Boiling Springs Rd; 800.430.5468; Dinner theatre package $59] year-round professional theatre where notable actors such as John Travolta have performed.

Eat

Enjoy the view of Children's lake from their beautiful outside patio or get your lunch and hand-dipped ice cream to go and sit by the lake. The historic Boiling Springs Tavern, [1 E. First St; 717-258-3614; lunch for two $30; dinner for two $65] which serves dishes such as Salmon Rockefeller, is an excellent choice for a candlelight dinner.
