An alternative is the Climbnasium located in Mechanicsburg, which houses extensive bouldering areas.

A scenic canoe or kayak trip is the perfect way to cool down after Whiskey Springs. Located just west of the Carlisle Dam, is the Conodoguinet Creek Water Trail. Adventurers can choose from a shorter route A-B to an extended route 1-17.

After an exciting day of rock climbing and boating stop by The Breeches Bar and Grille, located in Boiling Springs, for dinner. Showcasing an extensive menu and excellent reputation for fine dining, you can also enjoy live music on their outdoor patio and deck.

For your overnight accommodations consider staying at one of the area's authentic bed and breakfasts.

Day Two

Enjoy breakfast at your lodging or take a short trip to Caffe' 101 in the scenic village of Boiling Springs. Caffe' 101 hosts a comfortable atmosphere with one-of-a-kind breakfast dishes, as well as a patio overlooking the picturesque Children's Lake.

Chambersburg Skydiving is a world renowned skydiving instructional institution and jump site. Jumps for all skill levels are available and reservations can be easily made by phone. Tandem jumps with instructors will cost roughly $350 per person.

After an exhilarating day of skydiving sit back and relax at the University Bar and Grille in Shippensburg. Enjoy an impressive selection of dishes and draft beers on tap.

If you're not tired take a drive to enjoy live music, dance floors, and enough excitement to keep you going all night at the Buck Wild's Rode House.

Extend your trip at one of the area's hotels, including the Park Inn Harrisburg West attached to the West Shore Hardware Bar.
