AllBetterCare Urgent Care provides patients treatment for sudden or unexpected illnesses and injuries with no appointment ever needed. Instead of waiting days for a doctor's office appointment, or spending hours and thousands of dollars in an emergency department, AllBetterCare patients can expect to be seen, treated and typically released within an hour for "life's little emergencies" - and for a fraction of the price of the local hospital emergency room or "fast-track" department.
AllBetterCare Urgent Care is a full-service urgent care center, providing walk-in urgent care and occupational medicine services to regional businesses. Appointments aren't necessary and the clinics treat individuals of all age groups. AllBetterCare's patients can be treated for a wide array of conditions like fevers, asthma attacks, flu, upper respiratory infections, sprains, strains, cuts, broken bones, and burns. Their services are comprehensive and include digital x-rays, EKG's, on-site stat lab testing, a wide array of routine physical exams, immunizations, and occupational medicine/pre-employment services.
AllBetterCare is an independent physician-owned facility. The founders are emergency medicine residency trained physicians: Gregory Smolin, DO, FACEP; Rory O'Neill, DO; Marlys Pike, MD, FACEP, and Peter Kang, MD, FACEP who collectively have decades of experience in local emergency departments. As Dr. Pike states, "We created AllBetterCare to provide a completely different kind of healthcare experience. Coming from ER backgrounds, we wanted to provide quality care and convenient walk-in availability as an alternative to the ER for lower severity medical problems."
Both AllBetterCare Urgent Care Centers' are state-of-the-art medical facilities. Open 12 hours a day including evenings, weekends and almost all holidays. Most regional health insurance plans (other than Medicaid) are accepted, but not required. The new center, like all the others, will always be staffed by at least one on-site, board-certified physician and supported by a full medical team including physician assistants and certified radiology technicians.
AllBetterCare was the first urgent care center in Pennsylvania to be certified by the Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA) and maintains that certification along with recent higher level certification by the American Academy of Urgent Care Medicine (AAUCM).
