Exclusive Partnership Allows Attendees to Find Lodging Availability & Compare Rates
Cumberland Valley, PA (February 11, 2014) - In September 2013, Carlisle Events and the Cumberland Valley Visitors Bureau (CVVB) formed a partnership to develop a co-branded lodging reservations system for use by all car show attendees planning to visit the area.
This exclusive booking page is now available and offers visitors online booking options for Carlisle Events' preferred lodging properties. Car Show attendees can now easily choose properties within their desired location and budget that include special amenities like car washing stations and secure parking, all with a few simple clicks.
The partnership strategically blends two cornerstone entities within the Cumberland Valley, the region's hot-spot destination for collector car excitement since 1974, and the county's authorized agency charged with promoting the Cumberland Valley as a travel destination. "As Cumberland Valley continues to grow as a destination it is more important than ever that we partner with our major attractions, such as Carlisle Events, to provide easy planning and booking tools for our visitors", said Valerie Copenhaver, CVVB Director of Marketing.
The CVVB will be Carlisle Events' exclusive booking/lodging agent providing visitors with online hotel booking capabilities, which was unavailable in the past. The CVVB's booking technology launched in conjunction with its new website in 2012 and provides travelers with one-stop booking and travel options.
"Having been involved with the CVVB since its inception, I have seen it evolve into a first-class destination for everyone to go if they are planning a trip to anywhere near or within the Cumberland Valley," said Bill Miller, co-owner and founder of Carlisle Events. "Everyone employed at the CVVB has been hand-picked by the staff to make sure that visitors find the best accommodations and travel information so that their trip to our region can be the best experience possible. Carlisle Events is proud to be associated with the CVVB and know that everyone coming to our events will receive top notch service when working with the CVVB."
The lodging page also encourages car enthusiasts to discover historical, cultural, educational and recreational trip ideas on VisitCumberlandValley.com. After completing their booking, visitors can find nearby restaurants, bars, events and other unique things to see and do during their stay.
