With an international audience in attendance, Fall Carlisle expects to once again boast sold out car corral and vending spaces as well as a near capacity lot of auction cars. The event commences at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, September 28 and will run through 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 2. In between, a three-day auction will take place at the nearby Carlisle Expo Center. As was the case during Spring Carlisle, Auctions America by RM will be on-site to move rides of all shapes, sizes, makes and models across the auction block.
Throughout the course of the five-day event, enthusiasts will come from all corners of the globe to buy, sell and trade with total confidence. The Carlisle PA Fairgrounds boasts and impressive 8,100 vending and car corral spaces. In addition, in a sellout situation, Carlisle implements a recycling program which allows a vacant space to be immediately filled with a new vendor or seller in an effort to keep the activity and offerings fresh and ever-changing.
In addition to recycling a vending space, would be sellers also can come on-site for one day only - Sunday, as part of the Junk-in-the-Trunk vending opportunity. For only $25, spaces will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 7 a.m. Vendors must be selling automotive merchandise or at least an 80/20% mix. In addition, no T-shirts, clothing, wax, tools, die cast models or food will be accepted.
Sunday will also feature a cruise-in where one final car show will be held. The cruise-in is open to all cars, trucks, bikes and anything with wheels and an engine. Prizes and awards will be doled out and the fee for the cruise-in is $5 for a car/driver or $10 for a car load (2 or more guests). Vehicle registration begins at 9 a.m.
Other facets of Fall Carlisle include a "Fireside Chat" with co-owner and co-founder Bill Miller, the Automotive Restoration Market Organization (ARMO) Product Showcase and unrivaled camaraderie that makes coming to Carlisle a must for more than half a million people annually.
Admission for Fall Carlisle is $10 through Saturday, $5 on Sunday and kids aged 8 and under are admitted for free. Further, a weekend pass is available for $30, allowing unlimited access to the grounds over the course of the event.
