CARLISLE, PA - In 2013 the Carlisle Ford Nationals will once again be busting at the seams from a showfield stand point. Enthusiasts from the region over have allowed their registration to do the talking, proving that this all-Ford-themed event is the penultimate gathering of its type in the country. Numbers are up registration wise and those who aren't showing a car are also very excited about all that there is to see and do once onsite in Carlisle. This year's event, June 7-9, at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds welcomes special guests, great cars and hosts a pair of awesome giveaway opportunities.

The first giveaway, available specifically at Ford weekend, is an M-6007-X302D 306 Cubic Inch 340 HP Crate Engine. The engine is made available courtesy of Ford Racing and Carlisle Events and features a mix of the best OEM, Ford Racing and aftermarket parts to deliver strong street performance at an outstanding value. This is the perfect replacement engine for a vintage muscle car, late model project, truck or street rod. Best of all, unlike the imitators, no other crate engine has the Blue Oval heritage, Ford Racing Engineering and Technical support.

Everyone who comes to Carlisle will be able to see the giveaway engine as it will be positioned within the new Ford Racing Garage on the Manufactures Midway. In addition, representatives from Ford Racing will be in and around the garage and engine to answer questions about it and how it can best be used. After three days of display, a name will be drawn from a pool of entrants. Hopeful winners may register online now or onsite at the event. Submissions and considerations are limited to one per person. Further, everyone who registers as a vendor is automatically registered for the prize.

Along with the M-6007-X302D 306 Cubic Inch 340 HP Crate Engine giveaway, the Carlisle Ford Nationals also plays host to the launch of a multi-show contest - the giveaway of a two-year lease on a 2013 Ford Raptor SVT F150 truck. The truck will be on display during Ford weekend, with the contest continuing via the Carlisle Truck Nationals (August 2-4) and concluding as part of the all-new Carlisle Sports and Outdoor Nationals (September 6-8). This is a vehicle that any truck enthusiast will crave. It's capable of serious off-road action. The Raptor is also the type of truck that can be used a daily driver. In addition, it's perfect for towing a boat, trailer with equipment, hauling logs or taking a drive over a snowy, mountainous hill. With the 20th anniversary of SVT also taking place during the Carlisle Ford Nationals, the June weekend is the perfect opportunity to initially highlight this great giveaway. The winning name for the truck will be drawn on Sunday, September 8, while the engine winner will be selected on Sunday, June 9 as part of the final day of Ford weekend.

Entries for both giveaways are available via the Carlisle Ford Nationals web page. In addition, the Raptor registration link can be found on the sports and outdoor and truck pages, while everyone who attends the three events associated with the Raptor giveaway can register onsite too.
