CARLISLE, PA (May 4, 2011) - Cumberland Valley Bed & Breakfast Association is out to offer travelers relief from pain at the pumps during the busy spring and summer travel season.  Joining hundreds of other innkeepers across the U.S. and Canada, Cumberland Valley Bed & Breakfast Association is participating  in "B&Bs Kick Gas!" a grassroots campaign to help ease the burden of high gas prices and encourage travel to inns and B&Bs.  From now until June 30, 2011, members of the Cumberland Valley Bed & Breakfast Association will give away a $35 gas card whenever a guest books two rooms for two nights and carpools with another guest at one of the B&Bs.

"Our association wants to encourage travelers to take the trips they've planned this summer and not be sidelined by high gas prices," stated Joanne Kenney-Hawver, owner of the Red Cardinal Bed and Breakfast.  "We have joined the Better Way To Stay campaign's "B&Bs Kick Gas!" program to offer additional reasons for travelers to choose inns and B&Bs this summer. If gas incentives are added to complimentary breakfasts and beverages, wi-fi and welcoming hospitality, it's clear that inns and B&Bs make the ideal choice for those seeking value for their getaways," finished Ms. Kenney-Hawver.
