HERSHEY, Pa. - March 19, 2014 - In celebration of spring, The Hershey Story Museum will be offering an Easter basket craft for kids and spring-themed classes in the Chocolate Lab beginning April 5.

•Easter Basket Bonanza
April 5, 6, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20 and 21; 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Kids will create and decorate a mini Easter basket, hunt for Hershey history and receive a chocolate reward at the end of their journey. Free with admission.

Spring has also sprung in the Chocolate Lab, where participants learn about the history and science of chocolate and make a chocolate treat. Chocolate Lab classes with a spring theme begin April 5 and will be offered daily through April; each class is 45 minutes. Check HersheyStory.org for a complete class schedule. Classes include:

• Chocolate Bird Nests
Celebrate spring by making an edible chocolate bird nest complete with eggs!

•"Eggs-citing" Chocolate Creations
Mold a scrumptious milk chocolate bar and turn it into a colorful spring treat with unique and completely edible Easter-themed decals.

• Hoppin' Chocolate Bunnies
Welcome spring by molding and decorating an adorable chocolate bunny using milk and white chocolate.

Other classes include Build a Bar, Chocolate by Design and Planet Chocolate.
