Ride the Streets of Carlisle on the Newest Products from the Hottest Brands

CARLISLE, PA (April 16, 2013) - For years Carlisle Bike Fest has been the go-to destination for open-air enthusiasts and this year is no different. As the event enters its 11th year at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds, thousands of riders will once again converge on the mid-state for three days, July 19-21, and enjoy a weekend filled with special displays, seminars, exhibitions, guests and more. Another great attraction to Carlisle Bike Fest is the ability for any licensed rider to be able to demo a bike free from some of the biggest names in the industry. This year, representatives from Victory, Star, Suzuki and Kawasaki return, plus new in 2013 will be free demos of the Spyder three-wheeled motorcycle from Can Am.

The demo ride program at Carlisle not only allows companies to put their products in front of potential customers but it also allows the potential customers the chance to ride each type of available bike. The demo rides are lead by company representatives that will take each group on scenic guided rides around the Carlisle region. Whether the bikes have two wheels or three, this program is a great way for people to do something that in general can't be offered at a dealership - the opportunity to try various types of bikes from multiple manufactures all in one place. Those who own a bike may enjoy trying something different, while those looking to buy can take a serious look at their options. Further, company reps will be able to talk shop and answer questions too.

"Carlisle Bike Fest is one of the mid-Atlantic's premier motorcycle events," noted associate director of Business and Event Development Ed Scholly. "We have strong support from regional motorcycle dealers of all makes and models. Our event's unique gathering of riders, motorcycle dealers and manufactures makes Bike Fest an ideal location for manufacturers like, Star, Suzuki, Kawasaki and Can AM to provide demo opportunities. There are a limited number of events and locations a rider can demo numerous makes and models in one visit," continued Scholly. "You never know, one of these demo motorcycles could be your next new bike or your next used bike in a few seasons! This is a great opportunity to see what's out there!"

With multiple haulers located on the grounds and just inside of the main gate, the onsite manufacturers will have hundreds of bikes for patrons to pick from. Anyone who comes to Carlisle Bike Fest will not only ride into an event and a region unlike any other, they'll also have a chance to experience and explore the scenic Cumberland Valley. With rolling hills, winding rivers and multiple pieces of America History close by, Carlisle Bike Fest is more than a destination, it's a journey.
