CARLISLE, PA - Annually, events at Carlisle have featured some type of giveaway. In years past, it was a car, a motorcycle, an iPad, an engine or even cash. Though the giveaway program has evolved and not every event features a major giveaway, for a handful of weekends, something big is still on the line. The Carlisle Ford, Carlisle Truck Nationals and Carlisle Sports and Outdoor Nationals are a trio of events hosting the biggest giveaway in sometime at Carlisle.

In 2013, Carlisle Events goes further and puts an emphasis on its tag line "The Cars, the People and the Excitement" by collaborating with Ford to offer a 2013 Ford Raptor via a multi-show giveaway. Beginning with the Ford event (June 7-9) at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds, continuing with the Carlisle Truck Nationals (August 2-4) and concluding as part of the all-new Carlisle Sports and Outdoor Nationals (September 6-8), enthusiasts can take a shot at winning a two-year lease on the hottest performance truck on the market today, a 2013 Ford Raptor. A display model will be available at all three events and enthusiasts attending the Ford weekend can even go for a ride-along as part of a special off-road course positioned on the north hill of the fairgrounds. The ride-along comes courtesy of Ford Racing and Miller Motorsports Park.

Best of all, the winner of the Raptor as part of the September drawing, won't just be winning a truck, they'll be winning Ford's top performance truck on the market today. This SVT F150 is a vehicle that any truck enthusiast will crave. It's capable of serious off-road action, some of which can be experienced via the aforementioned ride-along program with Miller Motorsports Park. The Raptor is also the type of truck that can be used as a daily driver. In addition, it's perfect for towing a boat, trailer with equipment, hauling logs or taking a drive over a snowy, mountainous hill. With the 20th anniversary of SVT also taking place during the Carlisle Ford Nationals, the June weekend is the perfect opportunity to initially highlight this great giveaway.

"Partnering with Ford on this giveaway is an amazing opportunity for Carlisle Events to showcase yet another great product that's coming out of Detroit," said Associated Director of Business and Event Development Ed Scholly. "The Raptor is one serious heavy duty off-road vehicle that every sportsman should desire to win. Not only do they have a chance to win this truck through our three summer events, they'll have a chance feel first-hand what the Raptor is all about. At Carlisle, they can ride in one, look at one and during our June Ford show, speak with representatives from the brand about this truck."
In addition, to this amazing multi-platform Raptor giveaway, enthusiasts coming to the Carlisle Ford Nationals can register to win an X302-crate engine from Ford Racing and Carlisle Events. X302 features a mix of the best OEM, Ford Racing and aftermarket parts to deliver strong street performance at an outstanding value. This is the perfect replacement engine for a vintage muscle car, late model project, truck or street rod. Best of all, unlike the imitators, no other crate engine has the Blue Oval heritage, Ford Racing Engineering and Technical support.

Entries for both giveaways are available via the Carlisle Ford Nationals web page. In addition, the Raptor registration link can be found on the sports and outdoor, Ford and truck pages, while everyone who attends the three events associated with the Raptor giveaway can register onsite too.
