I've blogged about Camellia's Sin Tea Parlor before, but quite honestly, there are not enough words to describe how much I love this little gem of a business in downtown Carlisle. After a long drive I needed a little pick-me-up and decided that Camellia's was the place. I stopped by for a Cream Tea and enjoyed a lavender scone (my favorite!) and my own tiny teapot of tea (I tried Love Shack). It was just what I needed.
There was a table of teenage girls enjoying a full tea lunch, and judging by how the table got quiet every time a new course was brought to the table, I'm guessing it must have been delicious. It wasn't until every last bite was gone that the girls started giggling and talking again.
The only bad thing about Camellia's is that I love the gift shop a little too much. I can't think of a time that I stopped in and didn't leave with a bag full of goodies. This time I brought home a new tea and a bag of lavender scone mix. Yum!
