I headed to the West Shore Farmers Market last Saturday with the intent to buy human food....vegetables, fruit and maybe a cupcake or two. I did not plan on purchasing anything from the "Doggie Delights" stand, but after passing it a few times I couldn't resist their cute snacks and treats for puppies. A few of the treats (like the mini pizza and whoopie pie) I could have easily mistaken for "real" food. I picked out a peanut butter sandwich and an "Oreo" cookie for my puppy at home.
Here's a photo of the treat and my pup, Rooney, enjoying it. I think at first he thought it wasn't something he was allowed to have!
Now that Rooney is enjoying designer delights maybe it's time for a pink doggie sweater? Has anyone else pampered their dog with a treat from the farmers market?
