The Foundry Day Arts & Crafts Festival is held the first Saturday in June. Over 100 juried craftsmen and artists surround the scenic Children's Lake in the middle of town. Shopping for fine crafts isn't the only thing to do at Foundry Day. Plan to spend the whole afternoon in Boiling Springs with the family. There are a variety of food concessions, children's activities, live music, historic walking tours and nature programs at the Appalachian Trail Conservancy available throughout the day. You can also stop by TCO Fly Shop, located right along the lake, to shop for fishing and outdoor gear. There truly is something for everyone!

Other Things to See & Do

Make it a crafty weekend getaway to the Cumberland Valley. After taking in Foundry Day, you can explore all the arts and artisans the Valley has to offer by following the Artisan Adventure Trail. If you brought the kids, view our top Family Amusements or explore the outdoors with our Top 10 Hikes

Dining & Lodging

When it's time to grab a bite, there are great options right in Boiling Springs. You can also travel to nearby Carlisle for flavors from around the world, or head to Wormleysburg for dinner along the Susquehanna River.

Plan to stay for the weekend and spend the night at the newly renovated and reopened Allenberry Resort.
