I've been trying to come up with some unique gifts for this holiday season. I quickly realized that Cumberland Valley has a lot of neat shops to find those one-of-a-kind presents for anyone on your list. Here are some of my suggestions:
For Dad: Find something for an outdoorsy dad at Yellow Breeches Outfitters in Boiling Springs. They have all things fly-fishing including supplies and even tours. Another spot to shop for Dad is Canaday's Book Barn in Carlisle. This 200-year-old barn is filled with thousands of old books to browse through.

For Mom: Shop for coffees, teas, gourmet treats and unique gifts for mom at One Good Woman in Camp Hill or find that perfect gadget to make cooking easier at The Kitchen Shoppe & Cooking School in Carlisle.

For Co-Worker: The perfect spot to look for a funky and fun gift for any co-worker is Pat Craig Studios in Carlisle.

For the Artsy Friend:The Village Artisans Gallery in Boiling Springs is an art-lovers paradise. The best thing - all the jewelry, art and crafts are made by PA artisans.

For the Trendy Friend: Trendy friends would enjoy the clothes and accessories at Sassy at the West Shore Farmers Market in Lemoyne. They have the best jean selection and really cool tops and scarves.

For the History Buff Friend: For the history buff look no further than Civil War & More in Mechanicsburg. They have all things history from Civil War books, music and even neck ties! The history fan will also enjoy a gift from History on High in Carlisle. This unique gift shop for Cumberland Valley offers books about the county, area artwork and features handmade items from local retailers.
