I've had lunch at Market Cross a few times and knew they had a great food menu, but when I stopped in for a drink with a friend I didn't realize they also had a separate, quite extensive beer menu.  We had fun browsing the seemingly never ending list of domestic, imported and micro brews, and I really appreciated that they had a huge draft selection.  The menu featured brews from all over the world; places like Argentina, Jamaica, Poland and India.

I sampled Dogfish Head Tweason'ale - a pink strawberry ale.  Yum!

The entire restaurant was packed for open mic night. We settled in at one of the few empty tables and were treated to a variety of musicians.  I heard everything from bluegrass to classic rock to the songs I hear on the radio now.

One of the duos even sang a not-so-well-known song from one of my favorite bands - it made my night!
