Traveling the world is a goal most people have. Unfortunately the reality is that we don’t always have the time or money to go. However, I recently discovered a place that has combined two of my favorite things in the world and its right in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. At Market Cross Pub and Brewery, I am working to complete their World Tour passport of beer from around the world and here at home. Now I can experience parts of the world one enjoyable sip at a time.

The passport is designed to list nearly all the imported and specialty brews that Market Cross has to offer. Sections also include Pennsylvania, East coast, and West coast breweries to try. To complete the first level you must try a beer from each country, five from Pennsylvania, and three from each coast. This makes a total of 38 different and unique brews to try. If that wasn’t amazing enough though, the second level of the world tour passport is quite a doozy. You much have a combination of beer, coupons used, and event attended in that calendar year totaling 96! Not only will you receive all the perks of the first level, but you will also have your name engraved on a place and then mounted to the bar for all to see.  That’s bragging rights for a lifetime!

As of right now I am one week in with six beers under my belt. The goal is to reach all 38 for level one in time for the holidays this December. So wish me luck and I hope to see you there soon!
