I was driving down one of our scenic roads in Cumberland Valley last week and had to stop and take a picture of the corn growing in a roadside field. This just seems like an iconic sign of mid-summer and the puffy clouds and blue sky reinforced why I love this season. Seeing corn fields reminds me of summer picnics, nights watching fireflies and relaxing with family and great friends in the warm weather. Discover fun ways to make the most of this season in the Valley.

For others it might be the sandy beach rimming Laurel Lake, the big Ferris Wheel at a community fair, or the farm-fresh produce lining a Valley farmers market. What's your favorite image of summer!
