Just because the holidays are over and it's cold outside doesn't mean you should shut yourself inside. There are plenty of events happening in the Valley to keep you busy all month long.
Take a Cooking Class
The Kitchen Shoppe and Cooking School may be one of the mostly aptly named businesses - they offer exactly that: a kitchen mega-store and cooking classes. They offer so many classes, in-fact, you could take a different class almost every day of January! With topics like Wine and Cheese Celebration, Couples - Be My Foodie and Fresh, Fast and Healthy for the New Year, you can spend the notoriously cold month of January inside brushing up on cooking techniques to carry you through all of 2017. Get Active
There are plenty of ways to stay active indoors. Ski, snowboard or tube down the mountain at Roundtop Mountain Resort. Put a little rhythm in your step with swing dancing and ballroom dancing lessons, or enjoy one of the themed hikes at nearby Wildwood Park. Enjoy a Performance
Cumberland Valley is always bursting with performing arts in state-of-the-art venues and community theatres. In January, enjoy Seussical, Murder on the Nile and Plaza Suite. Find more performing arts here.
