Spend a weekend exploring Carlisle's first annual Ice Art Festival, featuring extended merchant hours and family-friendly activities including the following:

2. Great American Outdoor Show 2017

The Great American Outdoor Show is a nine day event celebrating hunting, fishing and outdoor traditions that are treasured by millions of Americans and their families.

The show features over 1,100 exhibitors ranging from shooting manufacturers to outfitters to fishing boats and RVs, and archery to art covering 650,000 square feet of exhibit hall space! Not to mention a jam packed schedule including country concerts, fundraising dinners, speaking events, archery competitions, celebrity appearances, seminars, demonstrations and much more!

3. 2nd Annual Sweetheart Stroll

Come to downtown Carlisle on Saturday, February 4, 2017, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm for the 2nd annual Sweetheart Stroll! This event is geared towards grown-ups, particularly "sweethearts", who will enjoy a brisk walk around downtown Carlisle to discover the small business gems it has to offer. Now what you consider a "sweetheart" is up to you--we think best bros and best girlfriends count! Participating businesses will be offering special treats and deals during the stroll. On the day of the event, a "Map of Hearts" can be picked up at Georgie Lou's Retro Candy, 56 W High Street, which will detail participating businesses and their offerings for the day.

4. Who's Bad: The Ultimate Michael Jackson Tribute Band

5. The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe

A dramatic retelling of C.S. Lewis' classic tale, this play follows four children as they journey to a magical realm where they participate in a life and death struggle for the control of Narnia against an evil witch. It is an heroic tale of love, faith, courage and self-sacrifice that showcases the triumph of good over evil.

6. Zoso: The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then Zoso certainly succeeds at raising Led Zeppelin to an unprecedented pedestal. While they certainly do not claim to be a replacement for Led Zeppelin, they have practiced a level of reverence and well-crafted showmanship and skill since 1995 that transports fans back in time, wondering if they are in fact witnessing the real thing.

8. Earl David Reed with Nipsey @ Shippensburg Comedy Club

A show with Earl David Reed and Nipsey from 105.7 the X, The People's Morning Show. Earl David Reed is a two-time Star Search winner, and has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, HBO, Showtime, FOX's Comic Strip Live, A&E's Comedy on the Road, NBC's Friday Night Videos and Showtime at the Apollo. Earl can also be seen on DVD as one of Bill Engvall's All-Stars of Country Comedy with comedians Larry the Cable Guy and Jeff Foxworthy. He is currently working on his reality-based TV pilot called The Secret of My Unsuccess. The Associated Press said "He may not be famous, but he's hilarious!" 9. Murder On The Nile

Simon Mostyn has recently married Kay Ridgeway, a rich woman, having thrown over his former lover, Jacqueline. The couple are on their honeymoon on a paddle steamer on the Nile, accompanied by a bevy of memorable characters. Among those present are Canon Pennefather, Kay's guardian, and Jacqueline, who has been dogging their footsteps all through the honeymoon. Murder and mayhem ensure. 10. 6th Annual USAHEC Re-enactor Recruitment Day

The US Army Heritage and Education Center invites the public to meet and greet a variety of living history organizations and reenacting groups representing a range of historical periods from world military history at the EXPANDED 6th Annual Re-enactor Recruiting Day! There will be special presentations, living history programs, and fun for everyone. Enjoy our museum exhibits and gift shop.
