1. Spring Carlisle

Spring Carlisle, a collector and classic car swap meet, car corral and auction is held each April in America's Automotive Hometown, Carlisle, Pennsylvania. This event was showcased by a Fox News web article as one of the top five automotive swap meets in the world. Not only is this show one of the best of its type in the world, it also marks the beginning of the Carlisle based show and swap meet season. The event plays host to thousands of collector and classic automotive enthusiasts, who travel to the 150-acre Carlisle PA Fairgrounds from all points of the globe to buy, sell and celebrate all things automotive. This is a fun-filled weekend the entire family will enjoy.

2. 2018 Harrisburg Beer Week

Harrisburg Beer Week is a collaborative grassroots effort, put together by a group of locals who have equal love for craft beer and Pennsylvania's capital city. Visit the website to see the events scheduled for this 10-day, multi-venue series which showcases breweries, restaurants, pubs and more through craft beer-centric events, demonstrations and education. Many events are free or very low-cost to attend. Some of our events are ticketed, and most directly benefit Harrisburg River Rescue & Emergency Services.

STOMP is explosive, inventive, provocative, witty, and utterly unique—an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages. 4. 11th Annual Art, Music & Wine Walk

The Art, Music & Wine Walk combines local merchants, regionally renown musicians, award winning art exhibits, and fine wine and food tastings into an afternoon celebration of spring and community. With 10 participating merchants/wine stops, a full scale art exhibit at the Carlisle Arts Learning Center, the block-wide Fear No Color CALC Art Competition and display, music by the Topper Broz, Street Art, and a home-brew wine competition judged by the Susquehanna Wine Guild, there's something for everyone.

Tickets for this event are $18 in advance, and can be purchased in person at Pat Craig Studios, Majorie's Gems, Castlerigg Wine Shop, Artist Market of Pomfret, online at www.mkt.com/the-pomfret-group, or via the "book now" button on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/shoptheblockpa). 7. Beatles vs Stones - A Musical Showdown

8. Mechanicsburg's 10th Annual Earth Day Festival

The festival will feature local merchants with eco-friendly products, fresh food and refreshments, live music, rain barrel silent auction, hands-on activities for the kids, and a variety of activities taking place at downtown Mechanicsburg businesses. This event will be held rain or shine.

9. Dill's Celtic Festival

Celebrate the area's Scots-Irish history and Celtic heritage at this family-friendly event! The festival will feature three stages of continuous entertainment, including traditional and contemporary Celtic bands, bagpipers, and dancers. The Festival will also host Celtic crafters, artisans, and vendors of traditional Celtic foods and beverages. Admission is $10.00 per person, with children under 12 admitted free.

10. Beer Garden Party: Pints & Plants

Celebrate Spring with craft brews and herb plants to start your garden! We will have live music in the beer garden for the event. Guests will take home 2 herb plants and a Market Cross pint glass. Our chef will create dishes to enjoy that feature the herbs and guests can take home recipe cards to replicate. Tickets are $20/person in advance and $30 the day of. Rain or shine.
