1. Corvettes at Carlisle
The largest and most fun-filled Corvette event in the world, the annual Corvettes at Carlisle event features more than 5,000 Corvettes representing all generations of America’s classic sports car. Corvette enthusiasm is contagious with participation in autocross, burnouts and the parade through historic downtown Carlisle. In addition to the Corvette giveaway, the excitement continues with an incredible shopping experience, including a huge swap meet with a wide variety of vendors, an all-Corvette car corral, Manufacturers Midway and Installation Alley.

2. 38th Annual Shippensburg Corn Festival
Shippensburg's downtown main streets are closed to vehicular traffic and transformed into a huge street fair for the day. There are more than 250 crafts and antique vendors. Food booths feature corn in every available form. Entertainers perform all day at three sites and there are a variety of strolling acts and demonstrations.

3. Carlisle Truck Nationals
Carlisle Truck Nationals is one of the largest and most action-packed truck events in the world! This is a family-friendly event with a rock climbing wall, mechanical bull, zip line and much more. The Carlisle Truck Nationals' showfield hosts around 2,000 trucks, Jeeps and SUVs. Attendees can take in some grandstand action with burnout contests, low truck limbo, high truck contest, frame dragging and a beauty pageant competition.

4. 2018 Cumberland Ag Expo
This annual agricultural fair features plenty to do for the entire family. There are dairy and animal exhibitions, shows, 4H presentations, children's activities, tractor pulls, food, music and more.

5. Kansas

6. Music on the Mountain
The lawn concerts are free, but donations are kindly accepted and we encourage you to sign up as a member of the Friends of Kings Gap. Bring your lawn chair or blanket to the top of the mountain and settle in for an evening of music at its best. The view will be spectacular. Food vendors will be ready to serve you.

7. 96th Annual South Mountain Fair
Come enjoy a small county agricultural fair featuring rides for kids, barns filled with farm animals, many homemade needlework exhibits, photography, home canned fruits and vegetables, fresh produce and fruit, and beautiful flowers, all on display. In addition, there is nightly entertainment in the auditorium, a draft horse pull on Wednesday evening, a fireworks display on Thursday evening, and the antique tractor and farm machinery parade on Saturday evening.

Central Pennsylvania's Collector Con is a collector's symposium for people of all ages and all levels of collecting from the novice to the seasoned investor. 9. 32nd Annual Grand Sousa Concert
Eighty musicians from across south central Pennsylvania will join together to celebrate American music and the legacy of one of the nation’s greatest band composers at the 32nd Annual Grand Sousa Concert. The concert is free and open to the public.
Guest Conductor Dr. James Colonna will lead the ensemble made up of members of five community bands, including the Carlisle Town Band, Shippensburg Band, Greater Harrisburg Concert Band, Singer Band of Mechanicsburg and Keystone Concert Band. Dr. Colonna is director of bands at Messiah College where he teaches graduate instrumental conducting and conducts the wind ensemble.
