1. UPMC Ice Art Fest 2020

The Ice Art Fest combines many different events and activities into one fun weekend. Over 75 beautiful hand-carved ice sculptures populate downtown Carlisle. Get pictures with each sculpture and be sure to visit the downtown stores, restaurants, and art galleries, where you can find many special events taking place throughout the weekend. Take in a movie at the historic theater, enjoy a carriage ride, and see the West Shore Symphony Orchestra! 2. Cha Cha Chocolate Extravaganza

Celebrate Valentine's Day or Galentine's Day during this chocolate extravaganza. Almost 20 participating downtown Mechanicsburg businesses will be giving away signature chocolate items to all event participants. 3. 9th Annual USAHEC Re-enactor Recruitment Day

Experience military reenacting and living history up close and personal. Re-enactor Recruitment Day features hundreds of living historians representing Soldiers and other service members from pikemen and swordsmen of the 16th century, to Civil War cavalry, to Desert Storm medics. The event will also include adversary units, allied units, and American forces from every era. Reenactors will be in period dress and have table displays where they will be available to answer any questions, talk about their equipment and materials, discuss their upcoming activities, and highlight the importance of reenacting as a way to keep history alive. 4. Great American Outdoor Show 2020

The Great American Outdoor Show is a nine-day event celebrating hunting, fishing and outdoor traditions treasured by millions of Americans and their families. 5. The Tap Pack

6. Motorama

The nation's largest all-indoor motorsports event features one million square feet of action with more than 2,000 racers along with 800 exhibition race and show vehicles. As you walk through the shows and pit areas, feel free to stop and talk to racers and exhibitors. In addition to racing at the 30-acre indoor venue with five racing arenas, visitors will find more than 150 vendors, live music, a beauty pageant, great places to eat, and more.

7. West Shore Symphony Orchestra: Change

The program begins with Beethoven's Overture to Fidelio. Then WSSO offers two movements from African-American composer Florence Price's Symphony No. 3 followed by dazzling clarinet soloist Yoonah Kim. Metamorphosis, nature's contribution to our theme, is the title of Paul Hindemith's powerful symphony. We offer this in mash-up style with Charles Ives's "Unanswered Question" and "Nimrod" from Edward Elgar's "Enigma Variations". The pre-concert lecture starts at 2:15 pm. The concert begins at 3:00 pm.

10. Leap Day Hike

Leap into March and get moving outdoors during this free winter hike. In the case of snow, snowshoes will be available for use (limited sizes available) on a first-come, first-served basis. Please bring water, dress for the weather, and have appropriate footwear.
