1. Carlisle Chrysler Nationals

There’s nothing quite like it anywhere in the world with over 2,500 vehicles from all eras of the Chrysler brand, classics, muscle cars, high-performance new models all converge on Carlisle for a one of a kind weekend. You need to be here for the enormous showfield that is organized by year, make and model, special indoor displays, activities for the kids, industry guests, special prizes and NHRA drag racing. Interested in parts buying? Look no further! You’ll be amazed at the size of the swap meet, the variety of vendors, the car corral, and the Manufacturers Midway. Whether you prefer the A, B or E body style – this show has it all!

2. 61st Annual Shippensburg Community Fair

Experience the music, food, agriculture, exhibits and more that only come from our community! There will be livestock exhibits, home products, tractor pulls, horse shows, rides and games for all ages, food, a craft show, and more!

3. Disney's The Little Mermaid

In a magical kingdom beneath the sea, the beautiful young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. 4. Bluegrass on the Grass Festival

Get ready for great music! Additionally, a wide array of vendors will sell food ranging from french fries to Thai food, plus non-alcoholic drinks. Restrooms will be available. Dickinson College is a smoke-free campus. Festival is held rain or shine. Seating is open. Free admission. Bike racks available throughout campus. The lawn can be accessed starting at 8:00 AM on the day of the festival. Bring lawn chairs and blankets.

5. Hurst Nationals Powered by Carlisle Events

Hosted at the Carlisle Expo Center, hundred of vehicles will gather for this milestone event. All makes and models of cars produced by Hurst are welcome and encouraged to attend. Whether you own a Hurst/Olds, SC/Rambler, a GSS Dart or any other Hurst-prepared vehicle, this is a can't-miss show! Hurst has a long and illustrious history of producing some truly amazing performance cars, so why not have a show dedicated to all of them? This is why Carlisle Events, one of the biggest names in car show production, has added the Hurst Nationals to our roster of events. You can expect the same level of Carlisle professionalism and organization but at a whole new facility with a whole new feel.

6. Shippensburg Symphony Festival Series

This July the sounds of the symphony come to Shippensburg for three concerts at the H. Ric Luhrs Performing Arts Center. All three concerts will feature the Shippensburg Festival Symphony with Robert Trevino conducting and special guest artists.

7. 125th Anniversary Hike

Meet at the grassy area behind the snack bar near Fuller Lake. Then it's off to Old Railroad Bed Road to Mountain Creek Trail to Old Railroad Bed and back to Fuller Lake to complete the loop. Marci Mowery from PA Parks & Forests Foundation and Rob Show, Friends of Pine Grove Furnace member, Rob Shaw
will take you on a four-mile loop.

8. Dancing Under the Stars

The Historic Two Mile House offers a covered patio for dancing and plenty of room for those who want to sit and watch. Bring a picnic, lawn chairs or blanket, and a bottle of wine if desired and dance the night away or just watch the dancers and listen to the music.

9. 63rd Annual Blueberry Festival

Blueberry Festival Celebrating 63 Years! They will be featuring fresh blueberries and samples galore, delicious homemade blueberry baked goods, blueberry ice cream, special deals on produce, Pick-Your-Own Blueberries, fun kids’ activities, and loads of yummy samples from our local vendors.
