1. Stars Burst Over Carlisle Festival & Fireworks
The Carlisle Fairgrounds will host Cumberland County's largest, musically-choreographed fireworks show ever produced in Carlisle. The 25-minute show will start at 9:35 pm and launch over 8,200 pyrotechnics shells and cannons into the sky. New this year is a music soundtrack that will be broadcast from the Carlisle Events fairgrounds stage and be choreographed to the fireworks overhead. The new festival will also host live entertainment, food trucks, a Carlisle-centric craft beer and wine garden, giant children’s area with inflatables, and great family fun for everyone.

2. Brighton Beach Memoirs
Here is part one of Neil Simon's autobiographical trilogy: a portrait of the writer as a young teen in 1937 living with his family in a crowded, lower middle-class Brooklyn walk-up. This bittersweet memoir evocatively captures the life of a struggling Jewish household where, as his father states "if you didn't have a problem, you wouldn't be living here."

3. Carlisle Chrysler Nationals

4. Bluegrass on the Grass Festival
Get ready for a great day of music on the Dickinson College campus. Seating is open. Free admission. The lawn can be accessed starting at 8:00 AM on the day of the festival. Bring lawn chairs and blankets. A wide array of vendors will sell food ranging from French fries to Thai food, plus non-alcoholic drinks.

5. Summer Celebration 2019
There are plenty of activities during Meadowbrooke Gourds Summer Celebration including their famous outdoor "Oops" sale; live music; food trucks featuring mouth-watering hamburgers, ice cream, burritos, pretzels, and more; beer and wine; a paint-your-own class; and wagon rides.

6. 50th Anniversary -- Shippensburg Symphony Festival Series

8. 62nd Annual Shippensburg Community Fair

10. 97th Annual South Mountain Fair
