1. Carlisle Ford Nationals

The entire family will enjoy the largest and most thrilling all-Ford event in the world. Ford, Mercury and Lincoln fans will have a showcase of over 3,000 vehicles to check out on the National Parts Depot showfield. During this event, you will enjoy great indoor displays of concepts, customs and historically-significant cars and trucks.  There will be test drives by Ford Motor Company, a burnout competition, activities for the kids, industry guests, giveaways, NHRA drag racing, autocross for all skill levels and club gatherings. The excitement continues with a shopping experience you won’t soon forget as part of the enormous swap meet, car corral and the Manufacturers Midway for the best in parts buying.

2. Foundry Day Arts & Crafts Festival

The Foundry Day Arts & Crafts Festival has over 100 craftsmen and artists, mouth-watering food concessions, children's activities, live music, historic walking tours, and nature programs at the Appalachian Trail Conservancy. Free parking and shuttles are available to all events from Boiling Springs High School parking lot.

3. 90th Annual Jubilee Day

Jubilee Day is the largest, longest running one-day street fair on the East Coast, attracting up to 70,000 attendees. This annual event features more than 325 vendors from near and far offering food, games, arts & crafts, business information, retail products, carnival rides and more. There is a Children's Area with activities for the very young, and live entertainment on two stages. The festival takes place on Main Street from York Street to Walnut Street and on Market Street from Simpson Street to Strawberry Avenue.

4. Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet's June Series

Inspiring. Energizing. Captivating. Immerse yourself in a dynamic display of thrilling choreography and stunning dancing in this longstanding springtime tradition. The Whitaker Center stage explodes with a youthful flourish in five unique programs showcasing the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet dancers' versatility and the company's vast repertoire.

5. Carlisle Chevrolet Nationals

Home to a diverse group of General Motors vehicles, from vintage muscle to the modern 5th Generation Camaro, this is the place to be each June. Organized by year, make and model, the National Parts Depot showfield is home to a wide array of classic and modern General Motors products. Buckle up for autocross action, indoor displays of concepts, customs, performance and historic vehicles, industry guests, activities for the kids and special prizes throughout the weekend.

6. SHAPE's 13th Annual Solstice Arts Festival

Designed for art lovers, artists, and music enthusiasts, this dynamic festival is sure to appeal to everyone in your family. The festival features fine art, music, good food, children's art activities and creative outlets for all ages. The festival also emphasizes the importance of environmental sustainability as well as personal health and wellness. 

Several local and regional artists can be found crafting their magnificent creations and selling them at the festival. Festival attendees can watch artists work in a variety of mediums, including pottery, glass blowing, fiber arts, painting, photography, jewel-crafting, and sculpture.

7. Newville Fountain Festival

The theme for 2018 is "The Automobile Comes to Newvile." The Fountain Festival features a car show, antique farm tractors and hit and miss engines. In conjunction with the car show, an auto parts flea market will also be held. There will be food and refreshments available throughout the car show, along with a live DJ. A parade will be held on Friday evening. Craft vendors, a wide variety of food vendors, and plenty of live entertainment will be provided throughout the two day event.

8. Appalachian Trail Music Festival

The Boiling Springs Appalachian Trail Community is hosting their fourth annual music festival along the Appalachian Trail at Children's Lake in Boiling Springs. Bring a blanket or chair and a picnic lunch, and settle in for a great day. Food and drink vendors will also be on hand. Admission is free and donations will be gratefully accepted.

9. Carlisle Summerfair

Summerfair originated in 1978 and has continued ever since with its commitment to provide the community with family-friendly events offered at no cost. 10. 2018 Iron Run Half-Marathon & Charcoal Challenge 5k

Iron Run half-marathon is the Friends of Pine Grove Furnace State Park’s annual fundraiser trail race, concurrent with the annual Charcoal Challenge 5k run/walk. On-site registration & check-in opens at 6:30 AM, the half-marathon trail run starts at 7:30 AM and the 5k run/walk starts at 8:30 AM.
