1. 24th Annual McLain Celtic Festival

Held at the Two Mile, the McLain Festival celebrates Cumberland County’s Celtic Heritage. Tickets are $10 for the day or $15 for the weekend. Children under 13 are free. This great family-oriented event is full of music, dancing, athletics, and kids activities.

2. Uprise Festival 2018

It's more than just an outdoor music festival. It's an experience with bands, artists, activities, food, merchandise and more. Uprise Festival is a non-profit organization that was created in 2004 to reach people in the local area through music. The festival it held at the Shippensburg Fairgrounds, Shippensburg, Pa with tons of artists, activities, food, merch, fun and so much more!

3. Annual New Cumberland Apple Festival

Hosted by the New Cumberland Olde Towne Association, this event features homemade crafts, vendors, foods, an apple pie contest, and entertainment. Trolleys will run all day along Bridge Street and Simpson Ferry. There will be two stops in the downtown and one in the park.

4. 37th Annual M&T Harvest of the Arts Festival

This year will include art, music, theater, kid's fun and great food. There will be over 120 artists in historic downtown Carlisle. Kids' Alley provides non-stop children's fun and live music can be heard throughout the day from great local and regional artists. There will be two large food courts and the Meeting of the Marques European Sports & Luxury Car Show returns again this year.

5. Mugs & Music in Mechanicsburg

Hear music fill the air at the Annual Mugs & Music event in Mechanicsburg. Take in the sights and sounds of downtown Mechanicsburg as you explore local boutique shops, museums, and galleries at this new and exciting event. Each participating location will offer something unique like beer tastings, wine tastings, chili and more. Kids can get their own mugs and enjoy root beer and apple cider. In true scavenger-hunt style, make your way to certain participating locations to get your map stamped and you’ll be eligible to win one of many great prizes from our local merchants.

6. Pennsylvania Tea Festival

This event will be held in the herb gardens of The Rosemary House and Sweet Remembrances and celebrates the wide variety of specialty teas, herbal tisanes, tea preparation and tea culture. A range of tea merchants and vendors selling all things tea will be on hand to share their knowledge about tea and tea culture. This two day event will feature lectures on tea, specialty workshops and tea tastings plus musical entertainment. Whether you are a beginning tea enthusiast or a seasoned tea guru, there will be something for everyone.

7. Kipona 2018

The City of Harrisburg will proudly present the 102nd Annual Kipona Festival on Riverfront Park and City Island, sponsored by Visit Hershey Harrisburg. The Kipona Festival features more than 40 food vendors, 3 live music stages with more than 30 bands, Artist Village with handmade arts and crafts, Biergarten featuring Zeroday & The Millworks, Native American Pow-Wow, Festival of India, canoe races, crab cake eating contest, children’s festival, carnival games, rubber duck race in the Susquehanna River to benefit Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and much more!

8. Shippensburg Beer & Wine Festival

The Shippensburg Beer and Wine Festival is a collaborative event with three organizations working together to host this event including the Shippensburg Area Chamber of Commerce, D.O.I.T. (Downtown Organizations Investing Together) and SADCO (Shippensburg Area Development Corporation). Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy beer & wine tastings, food, live music, games of chance and yard games.

9. Annual Fairy Festival

Calling all fairies, elves, wizards, hobbits, and gnomes to this annual event! Fairy Rose Fairy will be back to delight and entertain. Lots of crafts and activities including fairy wings to decorate, free fairy tattoos, free mining for gem blessing stones, free fairy dusted potpourri, and ivy halos.  This event is perfect for ages 3 –11 and all who believe! Free for children under 3 years old. Additional fees may apply for crafts.

10. 40th Annual Sportsman Show 2018

PA Trappers District 8 presents the 40th Annual Sportsman Show ("The Old Marysville Show") with everything for the outdoor sportsman and collector: guns, fishing, hunting items, traps and trapping supplies, licenses, decoys, knives, black powder, archery, and ammo. The event will also feature seminars and, raffles, and a 50/50.
