11th Annual Art, Music & Wine Walk

11th Annual Art, Music & Wine Walk

An annual event, The Art, Music, and Wine Walk combines local merchants, regionally renown musicians, award winning art exhibits, and fine wine and food tastings into an afternoon celebration of spring and community.

With 10 participating merchants/wine stops, a full scale art exhibit at the Carlisle Arts Learning Center, the block-wide Fear No Color CALC Art Competition and display, music by the Topper Broz, Street Art,, and a home-brew wine competition judged by the Susquehanna Wine Guild, there's something for everyone.

New this year, there will be a juried art exhibit featuring CALC member artists, based on the theme Fear No Color. Art will be displayed in participating businesses, and the winner will be determined by People's Choice voting. The winning artist will receive a Shop the Block gift basket, filled with goodies from participating Pomfret Group merchants.

Returning this year is the annual amateur homemade wine competition. It is open to the public. The entry fee is $18, and wine-makers may enter up to 5 wines per $18 fee. The judging categories are Dry Red, Sweet Red, Dry White, Sweet White, and Other. Entries must be dropped off at Pat Craig Studios, 30 West Pomfret Street, from April 15 to April 20. There is a $50 cash prize for the best of each category. Judging will be overseen by the Susquehanna Wine Guild using a standard point system.

Tickets for this event are $18 in advance, and can be purchased in person at Pat Craig Studios, Majorie's Gems, Castlerigg Wine Shop, Artist Market of Pomfret, online at, or via the "book now" button on our facebook page Tickets can be purchased at the event information tent on the day of the walk for $20 [cash or credit accepted].
