Join the Cumberland Valley Rails-to-Trails Council for their annual TrailFest. All events will be held at Shippensburg Station, located at the corner of Fort and Earl Streets in Shippensburg.
You can choose from a Half Marathon, 5k Race, 10-mile Hike, or 25-mile Bike Ride, or just get moving with a 1 Mile Fun Run/ Walk (free for kids from 1 to 100). All events will be run on the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail and will traverse almost 13 miles of completed rail trail between Shippensburg and Newville.
Your registration (except the free 1 mile) gets you 1 free craft beer, craft soda, or wine, and a free event t-shirt.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Cumberland Valley Rail-to-Trails Council (CVRTC) and will be used for maintaining the current trail, extending the trail toward Carlisle and Chambersburg, and maintaining the Cumberland Valley Railroad Museum.
Beer Garden
Appalachian Brewing Company, Maxie's Brew House, and Castlerigg Wine will provide craft beer, craft soda, and wine at the TrailFest. Individual glasses are available for $6. You will receive one free drink with any event registration. The beer garden will be open from 11:00 am to 4 pm.
Live Music & Food Trucks
We have live music and food trucks from 11 am to 4 pm.
