A Day at the Lake

A Day at the Lake

Overview
Locations

The first annual "A Day at the Lake" will have something for everyone -- amazing food, artisans, community displays, live music -- all at one of the area's most beautiful natural resources, Children's Lake. See the history of the historic village of Boiling Springs come to live by taking part in interactive, historical walking tours, including a twilight ghost tour. During the day, watch local artists excel at their craft as they set-up to paint, draw, or sketch their renditions of our beautiful lake. Come to TCO Outdoors to try your hand at casting a fly rod or perhaps enjoy a canoe ride on the lake. Researchers from Franklin & Marshall College will be at the Bubble to present their fascinating scientific findings that revolutionized what we know about the Bubble, its formation, the source of its water, and how it actually works.

The Boiling Springs Tavern will have a picnic and Allenberry Resort will be on hand with taste offerings as well as offering tours of their newly-renovated facility. Stop by for a delicious cold treat from the Sugar Shack.
