Advanced Pilates Chair Workshop
Join Adrienne for a challenging workout through some of the intermediate to more advanced exercises on the Pilates chair. Joseph Pilates originally designed the chair as a home exercise machine for New York City apartments. Early designs converted easily from a chair you could sit on to a wunda chair you could perform exercises on. It is considered one of the more difficult pieces of equipment to master because of its small size and limited support.
This workshop is geared to the client who has demonstrated a good understanding of the Pilates Method, has a strong mind/body core connection and has worked on the chair before. Be prepared to challenge your coordination, balance, strength, and endurance. Prior Pilates experience or instructor permission is required for this class.
