The African Children’s Choir has performed in thousands of venues worldwide, including concerts at the Pentagon, Buckingham Palace, and Capitol Hill. Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Kirk Franklin have featured the choir on various recordings. Their performances feature well-loved contemporary tunes, traditional spirituals, and African cultural pieces.
There will be a free-will offering during the concert to support the ongoing work of Music for Life. The mission of Music for Life, home of the African Children’s Choir, is to help Africa’s most vulnerable children today so they can help Africa tomorrow. With a focus on education, Music for Life currently cares for several thousand underprivileged children throughout Africa. These are children who could have lost all hope but have overcome their circumstances and now are making a positive impact on their communities.
