Founded by Floyd Stokes to promote diversity education, the Amani Festival—meaning "peace" in Swahili—brings together people from all backgrounds through the joy of food, music, dance, art, and shared traditions. Over the years, it has blossomed into a cherished event that attracts visitors from across Central Pennsylvania, showcasing ethnic crafts, delicious cuisine, and rich customs that promote respect and appreciation for all cultures and religions.
