Army Heritage Center Foundation Military History Webinar
In the new year, the Army Heritage Center Foundation will continue its webinar program on two Wednesdays each month, avoiding the third Wednesday of each month so as not to compete with the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center's Perspectives in Military History lecture series.
As always, if you miss one of the webinars, you can find it on the Army Heritage Center Foundation (AHCFoundation) YouTube Channel and, if you signed up for the program and missed the webinar, you will receive a link to the webinar/lecture.

Last Stand on Bataan: The Defense of the Philippines, December 1941-May 1942 with Chris Kolakowski
Early in World War II, a joint U.S.-Filipino army fought desperately to defend Manila Bay and the Philippines against a Japanese invasion. Much of the five-month campaign was waged on the Bataan Peninsula and Corregidor Island. Despite dwindling supplies and dim prospects for support, they held out as long as possible and significantly delayed the Japanese timetable for conquest in the Pacific. The defenders were hailed as heroes and the legacy of their determined resistance marks the Philippines today. Kolakowski chronicles these critical months of the Pacific War, from the first airstrikes to the fall of Bataan and Corregidor.
