In 2023, the Army Heritage Center Foundation will continue its webinar program on two Wednesdays each month, avoiding the third Wednesday of each month so as not to compete with the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center's Perspectives in Military History lecture series.

Bravo Company: An Afghanistan Deployment and Its Aftermath with Ben Kesling

Ben Kesling will discuss the experiences of Soldiers assigned to B Company, Second Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division that served in the Arghandab District of Kandahar Province, Afghanistan, in 2009-10, two of the deadliest years in the United States's war in Afghanistan. His talk will follow the men from their initial enlistment and training through their deployment that included a major shift in their mission, and then on to what has happened as they returned to combat in other units or moved on with their lives as civilians or struggled to.
