Join The “Bird Guy” Tour’s owner and guide, Andrew Dapkins, for casual and informative walks at one of Carlisle Borough's many parks and natural areas. Each walk will highlight a different area within the Borough. All walks start at 9 a.m. on the second Saturday of each month.
9/14 Letort Park, 260 E Pomfret Street
10/12 Cumberland Valley Rail Trail, meet at Allen Road Trailhead, 200 Allen Road
11/9 Thornwald Park, 350 Walnut Bottom Road. Meet at the Bicentennial Road parking lot by the mansion
No experience is necessary; all ages, abilities, and levels of birding experience are welcome. Bring a friend, binoculars if you have them, and proper clothing, as we will walk in whatever weather we encounter. Registration is not required—just show up and be ready to explore.
