Craighead House will host a high-energy afternoon of bluegrass music by Charm City Junction, one of the country’s outstanding traditional music ensembles, on Sunday, June 11, at 4 pm. The Concert @ Craighead: Bluegrass on the Breeches is a benefit for Craighead House, an education center for nature, local history, literature, and the environment. The concert will take place at Craighead House on the banks of the Yellow Breeches Creek at 318 East Old York Road, Carlisle.
This event was rescheduled from 2022. Tickets from that event are still valid. A limited number of additional tickets are available. A $25 donation per ticket is requested. Tickets are available at Whistlestop Bookshop in Carlisle and Village Artisans in Boiling Springs.
On-site parking and seating are limited, and concert-goers are asked to carpool and bring lawn chairs and blankets.
Charm City Junction, a Baltimore-based bluegrass/Irish/old-time string band, weaves together music spanning from the rolling hills of Ireland to the “hollers” of Appalachia.
