Safety - Students should plan to bring a pair of sunglasses and wear close-toed shoes (leather boots preferred). NO open-toed shoes. This class will be held outdoors in the CALC parking lot. In the event of severe weather, the class will be rescheduled.
Students will learn how to create a casting mold from found objects using delft clay and how to melt and pour bronze into the mold. Go on a scavenger hunt to find items like sticks, nuts, seashells, or fossils to re-create in bronze.
