The butterfly release will take place promptly at noon in the field, with a special memorial release to follow for those who wish to participate. The memorial release is a time to create space and honor those releasing butterflies in memory of loved ones. If you would like us to share your story or a message in honor of a loved one during this memorial release, please leave a note during your checkout or email the story to kerri@ashcombe.com.Â
Butterflies are $10 and you can release them here at Ashcombe, or take them home to your garden. Butterflies cannot be shipped and are picked up only on Butterfly Day. Quantities are limited, and we cannot guarantee that extra items will be available for sale on the day of the event. Orders due July 15th.

10 am to 12 pm: Creatures Great & Small Petting Zoo - Located in the Courtyard, this hands-on petting zoo features many furry - and not-so-furry - pets. Learn about creatures like turtles, chinchillas, snakes, lizards, and more!
11 am: Native Plants & Pollinators Talk & Tour: Join us for a free walking tour to discuss native pollinator plants. Please meet at the Nursery entrance at 11 am.
