CANCELED: Youth Yoga 6-Week Series - Grades 6-12
Let go of the pressures and stresses of being a middle school and high school student! Youth Yoga classes incorporate a more adult approach to yoga poses, breath and relaxation. Through discussion, mindful activities and concentration techniques, deeper explanations of yoga concepts are explored in a supportive and fun atmosphere. Classes introduce some more complicated poses, but the main focus is on relaxation and releasing stress through restorative and gentle yoga. Yoga helps to develop focus and self-control while giving exercise to all systems of the body. No prior yoga experience required.
Pre-registration is required to reserve your spot. A minimum of 5 students is required to run the program. Register by Friday, March 20 in the studio, by phone, email or online.
Dates: Saturdays, March 21, 28, April 18, 25, May 2 and 9 from 3:15 - 4:15 pm. There is no class on April 4 & 11. Cost: $80 for the full session, $15 for each individual class.
