Civil War Days in Harrisburg is a community-wide series of events aimed to present and preserve Harrisburg's rich Civil War heritage and history sponsored by The National Civil War Museum in conjunction with: Camp Curtin Historical Society and CWRT, Civil War Dance Foundation, Cumberland County Historical Society, Dauphin County Commissioners, Hershey Civil War Roundtable, Historic Harrisburg Association, Historical Society of Dauphin County, and Pennsylvania Capitol Preservation Committee.

On Sunday, June 24 the John Harris-Simon Cameron Mansion will be open from 1:00pm-3:00pm for free self-guided tours. At 3:00pm, Dr. Michael Barton will give a free presentation on the history of the 209th Civil War regiment from Dauphin County.
