The Shippensburg Park & Recreation Authority and the American Clan Lockhart Society are proud to present the first annual Cumberland Valley Scottish Games. We are hoping to honor the rich history of the founders of Shippensburg, who were Scottish/Irish settlers looking for their own piece of the new world. Let's celebrate our Celtic roots by discovering our heritage together at the Cumberland Valley Scottish Games.

Yes, But must be leashed and under control

No, but who needs to bring their own food and drink when we have the nectar of the gods here.

Do I need to wear a kilt?
No, but you might look a little funny being the only person in short pants.

The schedule is still being determined by festival highlights include:

  • Live music by Charlie Zahm, one of the most successful performers on the Celtic festival circuit. He weaves magical moments of Scottish and Irish history for the listener and viewer, with passion for the performance and a chosen repertoire pleasing to all members of the family. 
  • Amateur bagpipe competition
  • Scottish Highland Heavy Athletic competition
